Entry Requirements
Age Requirement:
Students must be at least 18 years of age. Students must also have completed Year 12 or equivalent.
Physical Requirement
The student must be physically fit enough to do the exercises they will be taught,
Minimum English Language Requirement:
Students must meet one of the following:
- Score a 6 or above on the International English Language Testing System
- Score a 52 or above on the Pearson Test of English Academic
- Satisfactorily completed ELICOS to at least Upper Intermediate level
OR
Provide either of the following evidence of English Language competence:
- That they were educated for 5 years in an English-speaking country
- That they have completed their Year 12 or equivalent in English Language
Students will also need to pass the Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital (LLND) assessment conducted by Phia Education Trainer/Assessor, which includes a written test and interview to complete the verbal component of the test. For international students applying from their home country, this will be completed during a video call interview. For all students applying within Australia, the test will be completed during an interview at the Phia Education Campus.

- Certification: Participants who successfully complete the course will receive a Statement of Attainment for HLTWHS005 – Conduct Manual Tasks Safely
